I have called Jim out for a lot of things. Now I feel that I have to give the man his due.
Following the Obama's win in the 2008 election, Jim posted a very gracious and eloquent congratulation thread. I was just reading it over, since I had forgotten it.
Many of the responses are not as civil -- the always combative crin and gaffer (rip) stating that Obama will never be their president -- but that is to be expected.

I don't recall being that accepting in 2004, but I was a different person back then. :cool:

As far as being gracious in defeat goes ... why? Lose something? Some of y'all take this WAY too personally.

I'm not going to take it easy on you. I expect stupid people to be stupid. Conversely, I consider the waste of a mind in lieu of inciting others a crime.

Oh, and jimnyc is a weenie. He can't even hold a phone straight and drink beer at the same time.:laugh:

I wonder why I haven't seen any awesome posts like this after Trump won? :thumb: Most liberals can't let things go, can't be happy for the opposing winner and can't start fresh for the good of the country.
