"Growing calls from a number of Western capitals to stop the counter-terrorist operation in Eastern Aleppo seem to be a desperate attempt to shelter and save terrorists and extremists they are ‘overseeing,’ or those who stop at nothing to reach their ill goals, who are now suffering defeat," the ministry said. "It is they who continue to use civilians as a human shield, to shell and mine civil infrastructure, humanitarian corridors."
"Following today’s discussion of a draft resolution on the situation in Syria at the United Nations Security Council, we would like to express bewilderment and profound indignation at Paris’ and London’s propaganda campaign over their alleged concerns over on-going combat operations in Eastern Aleppo, the situation with security of civilians and emergency relief aid deliveries," the ministry said.
"Our ‘worried’ French and British colleagues cannot but know that such aid is already being delivered to Aleppo’s population and it is being done not in words but in real life by the Russian side, in particular by the Russian defense ministry, the Russian center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria at Hmeimim and the Russian emergencies ministry," the Russian foreign ministry stressed.

Hospital shellingRussia has not heard from the West any statements condemning the shelling of a Russian hospital, this politicized approach should be abandoned, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
"We hear no words of condemnation from Western capitals," the ministry said.
"We urge our partners to reject a politicized approach and to finally join efforts to curb the terrorist threat in Syria and to seek political ways for the settlement of the Syrian crisis instead of a non-constructive fanning of emotions in media," it said.

This, from one of your links:

Lavrov says militants who do not leave eastern Aleppo to be regarded as terrorists

I find myself wondering what efforts will be made to separate these 'militants' who'll be deemed to be 'terrorists' from any others in eastern Aleppo who don't belong to, nor have any sympathy with, the 'militants' referred to. Aleppo is a city (what's left of it) .. and there will be innocents caught up in all of this.

How about any injured civilians, Balu ? People unable to leave the area because of their injuries ? What happens to them ? Are they to automatically be classified as 'terrorists' ?

I'm all for blasting terrorists to hell, Balu, and I always will be. But I find it hard to believe that there are NO innocents caught up in this ... people whose only 'crime' is that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Who's considering their interests ?
