I'm kind of surprised that these haven't been pursued by our military yet... can you imagine a platoon of these armored behemoths complete with missiles, AA, grenade launchers & miniguns?
Looks like South Korea is well underway with the program and plans to sell these in 2017 for $8 million each - I expect the final version complete with armoring & weaponry to be much more, of course.

The biggest problem that I can see is the power source... they don't really go into that. Something like that is going to need a lot of juice.
