Chicago scares me. I love-hate it. The people voting in absolute FOOLS and the taxes and stuff. Ugh.

But being IN the city? Walking around? Except for the attempted mugging, I loved it. Just loved it.

The 'problems' regarding shootings and more are pretty much confined to south and west side gang strongholds. There's no denying the problems with government, taxes, etc., but for those with mega incomes or those with less living in the burbs, Chicago is a haven for culture, shopping, biking, running, eating, ...

Would I want to be on the lakefront walking, no matter how layered I was in February? No way! However, put me in a heated car on LSD? Nirvana!
