The good news is the snowpack in the Cascades is great for the lakes and rivers

I'm just hoping that NE storm doesn't screw up my flight into Chicago. Fingers crossed, due into O'Hare at 6:30 am.

Skiing?

Oh yes. Several of the resorts opened 10 days early because of the snow.

I can't ski. My knees are too wrecked!

Always was, M'Lady....always was. Older brother was always too damn lazy.

Except the way I sweat I did it in moccasins, shorts and a
Tee-shirt if it less than six inches!

It all looked so beautiful. Then I realized AGAIN that I would need to be shoveling out of this nightmare. Still no snowblower. :(

I saw where there are a lot of special snowflakes on the ground up in the Northeast today. It's a rather chilly 60 degrees or so here.

There were more "special snowflakes" in Az yesterday.
Seven of them were arrested and will get their time in Court on Thursday :salute:

My wife is a nurse in the emergency room. If she were right as often as the weather folks, she would be in prison.

Seriously, same for Russ in IT, lol. Well, maybe not prison.

I guess I am disappointed because, first I love a lot of snow, and second, they closed my school and I missed three classes I was looking forward to, for no reason. This has been a pretty lame winter around here.

I like this:

On Monday I was on the beach in Florida. Wednesday I was on the beach in my backyard. Storm blew east ~3 hrs. earlier than expected so we only got 7".

I'd take pics, but too late, it's all black and ugly and gloomy already. And if I go in the backyard for pics... it's different colors thanks to my doggy. :)

Got about 36" here in my yard and counting... about 5' or 6' up at the cabin.

I'll take a pic when it gets light out.

It's been accumulating all winter... but yeah, we got about 14" in one storm that passed through.

I have seen it dump 4' with one storm in a couple of days quite a few times, though.

I feel really bad for y'all sitting here in my shorts. Decisions are tough. My legs are as ugly as it gets. I mean UGLY. I got more damage on them than the USS Boxer. I'd prefer a little cooler so can cover up the damage with some long pants. I haven't been her in the summer for quite a few years. So the opposite side of the equation is this ain't gonna be fun.

I spent half my childhood in Monroe and Dade County. I'm actually one of those dumbasses that jumped off the trestle at Bahia Honda. That hurt. I wasn't a good guy then. Not even close. I worked in a biker bar, hung out at Big Daddy;s and the Caribbean Club. I wouldn't be alive if I had stayed there. Me n some Columbians weren't getting along,

I loved the place though. There's nothing more beautiful than Eliot Key in the summer.
