Patton has gotten a bad wrap methinks..
In that his negatives, have been roundly cited over and over again.
As in the hypocritical comment about , "blood and guts", whee the dog-face says - "yeah,our blood and his guts!""
This article clearly shows that the man had guts in WW1..
Something deliberately left out of the movie and books/comments on him almost ever reference..

However, if you want a great fighter, top commander and bad-ass MO', YOU CAN NOT BEAT CHESTY PULLER!---TYR
