"Fate of the Furious' Beef: Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel Kept Apart on Press Tour"

"Last August, Universal insisted that The Fate of the Furious (https://www.yahoo.com/movies/film/the-fate-of-the-furious) stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (https://www.yahoo.com/movies/tagged/dwayne-johnson) and Vin Diesel (https://www.yahoo.com/movies/tagged/vin-diesel) had buried the hatchet after feuding on the set of the eighth film in the Fast and Furious franchise. Fast-forward eight months, and the bad blood continues."

Sources say the two tough-guy actors are being kept from one another as the Fast team continues its press tour in the run-up to the F. Gary Gray (https://www.yahoo.com/movies/tagged/f-gary-gray)-helmed film hitting theaters April 14.
"They're keeping them separated as much as possible," says an insider"

(It `could be all movie hype..but whatever...)`

~ "The beef dates back to the waning days of the 100-day Atlanta shoot when the frequently tardy Diesel arrived late for his final scene with Johnson, prompting Johnson to vent about his co-star on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DwayneJohnson), where he wrote cryptically: "My female co-stars are always amazing, and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story," adding that "some" are "chicken shit" and "candy asses." That led to a heated exchange between Diesel and Johnson in the latter's trailer."~

MOVIE FIGHT:

Rock looks to be the stronger of the two. With that given, being a bouncer myself for many years, several decades ago--I usually can judge fights well..
If I were to place serious money on who would win in a real, knock down drag out fight-I would go with Vin, primarily because he was once a bouncer himself.
And fact is, a bouncer that performed his job for many years with great success can handle even stronger opponents--because strength only goes so far in a fight between two truly tough opponents...
Reflex- speed, agility , ability to take tough hits and most important the--"fighting spirit within a fighter/warrior, far and I mean by far outweigh
strength and even weight advantages.
I was never defeated , even by men stronger and bigger during my time working as a bouncer- primarily because fighting spirit, speed , accuracy and that indomitable will to always win served to trump their advantages..
Additionally, my being left-handed both shocked and surprised them --which gave me yet another advantage..-Tyr

That's an easy one. The guy who is still standing at the end...is the winner.

Both of them are capable of destroying the other.

If I had my drothers...."THE ROCK" would be my choice.

I've been watching the Rock since he was Duane Johnson at the U of Miami. His dad is actually Rocky Johnson, pro wrestler from the 60s-70s. His mother is the daughter of Peter Maivia, pro wrestler from the 60s-70s. For the "it's fake" crowd. Try it. His timing. speed and accuracy has to be perfect to NOT hurt his opponent. That is WAY harder than kicking someone's ass. I'm going with the Rock on this one.

I go with Johnson. He's even tougher than he seems in the movies if you ever followed him. Hell, probably same applies to Diesel. But I think Rock has trained more and is simply more of an athlete. But wouldn't be surprised with either!
