Republicans really had absolutely no repercussions whatsoever to worry about when they passed the "nuclear option" today. Let's face it, whatever happened today or in the next 3 and 1/2 years, the Dems would have done the nuclear option themselves, the first nanosecond that there was a Supreme Court nominee and they had a majority in the Senate.
Dem Senators invented "Borking", they invented the nuclear option, and they invented voting "No" for SC nominees for no reason other than that the nominee wasn't their political party.
I think newly-elected Dem Senators are required to get a "character-ectomy" and an "integrity-ectomy" before they are allowed to move into their new offices.
