M.G.T.O.W – Men Going Their Own Way is a statement of self-ownership, where the modern man preserves and protects his own sovereignty above all else. It is the manifestation of one word:
“No”
. Ejecting silly preconceptions and cultural definitions of what a “man” is. Looking to no one else for social cues. Refusing to bow, serve and kneel for the opportunity to be treated like a disposable utility. And, living according to his own best interests in a world which would rather he didn’t.

If scientific study reveals "men are more likely than women to take idiotic risks", then it must also be acknowledged that men are more likely than women to be congratulated on their successes as a result of taking those risks.
That kind of a pro-male acknowledgement will be often skewed by many to mean something "anti-female". The very same publishers at TIMEŽ who proudly call men "idiots" will even say a man's right ( to stand up for himself and not be beaten down ) is somehow "toxic and misogynistic (http://time.com/134152/the-toxic-appeal-of-the-mens-rights-movement/)", and can be found in their very own "sexism" section.

Thanks.

The independent, self-reliant man is so appealing a fantasy, Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote a series of books about it, based on the jungle-dwelling character Tarzan.

But the reality is, U.S. citizens benefit from the national defense our government provides. And as we remain the beneficiaries of it, we are each obliged to pay our share of the cost of it.

Receiving such benefits without carrying our share of the load is free-loading.

"There is no law that says we have to go to work every day and follow our employer's orders. Legally there is nothing to prevent us from going to live in the wild like primitive people or from going into business for ourselves. But in practice there is very little wild country left, and there is room in the economy for only a limited number of small business owners. Hence most of us can survive only as someone else's employee."

There is an appropriate Russian saying to comment the actions of the initiators of this movement - When cat does not have anything to do, it starts licking own balls.
