Guess what ... You looked like a gay-ass nerd with an inflatable girlfriend when you pimped Verizon.

Now that you pimp Sprint and have made a point of your defection ... you STILL look like a gay-ass nerd that sleeps with an inflatable doll. Changing companies can't hide the '68 windbreaker and glasses you stole from Clark Kent.

OCA did bear a striking resemblance, now that I think about it.

Hey, Simple Simon here has Verizon. Talk and text $45 a month. It's a phone. I had to be dragged kicking and screaming into learning to text. I only switched from who I was with in IL because they don't have coverage down here. Damned racist Yankees. :)

If you want your Cell bill to be low, here's how you do it :

NEVER take the 'free' phone they offer with a contract. Buy your phone (ask the company which are compatible) outright.

Then you sign up for service with your own phone, it's an out-of-contract deal, month-to-month like anything else. It's lower because they know you can switch companies anytime you want to, so they give you the lowest rate they can to retain you.

That lowered my bill to $25 per phone on AT&T, with talk, text and 8 gigs of data per month, which is plenty if you don't have teenagers being silly with downloading & apps. And that's here in Alaska, where everything is stupidly expensive compared to the Lower 48 - so you can probably get it for cheaper down there.

I did the math when I discovered how much more they nail you for with that 'free phone' & contract - you're paying over $1800 for that 'free' phone over the life of that 2 year contract. Add that up for multiple phones and we're talking substantial money. It's crazy.

My plan is monthly. You won't get AT&T here for $25. Their main headquarters is here and they're proud of it. I've done electrical work in that building when it was SBC. Here's the kicker ... my grandfather did electrical in the same building. :)

At&T's proud of their cable too. I had Sprint for a long time until they tried to jerk me around some roaming fees. I said :bye1: And on me paying that bill.:fu: Cuz I'm a nice guy like that.

The splurged for a new, "Hi, I'm Paul the Geek" commercial. I MUST find his tailor. White collared dress shirt, yellow v-neck sweater vest, grey suit. Still got Clark Kent's glasses.

I thinking of making a run on Men's Wearhouse as I type.

Geez, if you buried me dead in that sh*t I'd come back to life and kill you.:death:
