The days of US 'taking care' of Europe or any other areas are over. She's the first one to say this aloud, will be interesting to see if President Trump congratulates her comprehension.
It does seem that NATO is done, I think that's a mistake, but it seems to be what the people want. Can't really demand payments, while refusing to agree to Article V, commonsense says to walk away from that one.
Germany is likely to go nuclear if they need to protect themselves without NATO. Eastern Europe is going to figure out if they can find some way to get protection from an expanding Russia.
