He'll be 17 this November, just a little older than yours.

And don't play that crap for her. Keep playing some heavy metal, or at least good 'ol rock and roll!

Her birthday is actually tomorrow, May 30. I just happened to think of it today.
I actually want to post "Birthday" by The Beatles, but all their original songs have been removed from youtube.

My daughter enjoys a lot of different music, but metal is not one of them. She was actually chosen to participate in a select music class this summer along with her cousin, who plays the violin. I don't mind the classical stuff they play, but they need to take the opera music into the backyard.

Meh, nothing wrong with liking different music. But you should at least still try shoving it down her throat, hopefully some of the metal will wear off on her!!

Jordan is similar, he doesn't care much for the metal or old rock. He likes the dang hip hop music crap.

Thank you Abbey. I sent that to my daughter's phone, since she is out with her dad and his parents. :cheers2:

I tried playing it a few years back. My husband and my daughter object to metal, so I gave up on playing it. :(

I don't allow rap or hip hop in my home. My daughter tolerates it, but makes sure her friends don't play it around me. I try to be open minded about most things, but I draw the line with rap. Bad enough they play it now at sports events.

No metal, no rap- save the brain cells!
