I saw this coming this morning when another Senator came out and said he couldn't vote on it at this time:

Yeah, I don't think it's going through as-is, and more changes are going to be made if they want to succeed at this. I think it's simple, but I'm a simple man (like forest gump!) and don't know politics. Sit down in a massive conference. Find out what is needed and not needed. Discuss if these changes are actually good or not. If they are, make the necessary changes and pass the bill.

congress sucks.

I read that they're 4 votes shy of passing it... that shouldn't be too hard to compromise to get those votes. Couple of tweaks here and there should do the trick.

Such a shame we have to even meddle in this, but now it's an entitlement. Maybe after this one fails like Obamacare did we can scrap the whole thing and revert back to how it should be.

I think it's up to 6 now, but someone may have changed?
