It will be interesting to see how the liberal media like CNN / NYT portrays this story. They want to attack the Catholic church, because that's one of the things they live for, but they are deathly afraid of saying anything about gays that might sound negative. Hmmm, if this story is about a bunch of gay Catholics, how can CNN attack the Catholic part of them without attacking the gay part of them? Quite a conundrum. Good point. I expect they will just blame Christians for making gays feel ashamed, and as a result using the church's "priests can't marry" rule as a convenient cover.

i think that maybe folks, in this case the police, are getting fed up with the double standards of the Church.
I know that I sure am fed up, and I am constantly amazed at their inability to correct mistakes.
I was raised Catholic, but I focus on my relationship with Jesus Christ rather than the Church.

Not being able to marry is not going to result in it going so wrong that you turn to pedophilia, imo. I've long believed though, that the priesthood attracts gays and pedophiles (and gay pedophiles) because it is a natural excuse for never getting married. And easy access to young boys.

WHY IS IT IGNORED by these people? And sure, we'll hear "not the subject", for another thread or ANY excuse other than acknowledging the truth and their consistent hypocrisy.'
