I once had an opportunity, back in the 80's, to visit that HOLY PLACE in person. Time in port prevented it from taking place at the time.
I suspect I would have felt the same way I did with my last, and only visit to the VIETNAM memorial in Washington. More Americans should get the chance to see THE COST OF THEIR FREEDOM in person.

There's but one aspect to those clips....

Opening scene; They walk along the path with the ocean on the their left side. Means they had to walk into the cemetery a distance, turn around then walk back towards the entrance. Makes sense - would have been nearly impossible to film on the other side.


Best part of that 'gaffe' in the movie? Best part for me? I've been there now and I know the sacred ground within which the heroes sleep.
