Maxine Waters 2020? Crazy Congresswoman Sparks Speculation Frenzy With Event In New Hampshire

Could President Trump’s most vocal critic be gearing up for a run in 2020? New Hampshire’s WMUR reveals none other than Congresswoman Maxine Waters is slated to headline an event in the Granite State. The move is sure to set off nationwide speculation.

WMUR reports:

California congresswoman Maxine Waters will be in New Hampshire later this month to headline a picnic fundraiser for the Strafford County Democratic Committee.

According to an invitation, obtained by WMUR from Democratic sources, Waters will be in the state on July 23 for the picnic to be held at the Miller Farm in New Durham.

Waters, a co-founder of the Black Women’s Forum, was elected in November 2016 to her 14th term in the U.S. House, representing a large part of south central Los Angeles.

Waters’ latest move might stoke speculation about 2020, but as The Gateway Pundit reported, the California Democrat’s individual contributions are drying up and her coffers are near empty thanks to hundreds of thousands owed to her daughter.

Washington Free Beacon reported:

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters (Calif.), who has been considered a leader of the movement within Congress to “resist” Donald Trump, has received a little more than $20,000 in individual contributions to her campaign so far this year despite her elevated profile.

Waters is also $100,000 in debt to her daughter, who runs a lucrative endorsement mailer operation for the campaign, filings show.

Citizens for Waters, Rep. Waters’ campaign committee, reported receiving just $12,600 individual contributions throughout the second quarter, which runs between April 1 and June 30. During the first quarter, which spans from Jan. 1 to March 31, the campaign reported $9,508.79 in individual contributions. Waters has now pulled in just $22,108.79 in total individual contributions.

The campaign has compensated for the low amount of individual contributions by pulling in six figures from political action committees. The campaign reported $2,500 from PACs during the first quarter and $99,500 during the second quarter.
