I've been reading about antifa this morning and this article was the most interesting, mostly because of Chomsky and the Left's reaction to what he had to say but there was something briefly mentioned which has been in almost every article I've read this morning.

The anti-fascist movement, which is in favour of popular grassroots opposition to fascism rather than reliance on the police or the state, is not a homogenous centralised organisation. It has a long and varied history which dates back to fighting Benito Mussolini’s Blackshirts in the 1920s and then Adolf Hitler’s Brownshirts in the taverns of Munich.

Not quite right. Those groups were anti-fascist but that was by default because they were Communists, they weren't just some guys who didn't like Nazis speaking in public. Talk about trying to whitewash history.

I thought it was a good read so enjoy if you're so inclined. Feel free to make any comments.

In practice, I see no real difference between a commie and a fascist. Both seek ultimate control in the name of the state.

A rose by any other name ....

The ANTIFA active here today in America is a paid riot squad by George Soros.

They're no more against fascism than they are the man in the moon. They'd be much better served if their name was anti-first-amendment.

I think you're right as far as the street fighting activists go but I think their governments are different. Fascists didn't seem to deny market forces or individual accomplishment/ability whereas Communists did.

My first reaction was that the manual is fake. I still think it is but I went back to college a couple of years ago and the things typed in that manual aren't too far from the way some people on campus operated.
