These are cell phone pics mostly - but I LOVED Tuscany. Loved. Loved. LOVED it.

Various pics from Verona, Milan, Florence - and my new man-purse (its a satchel!) and...finally broke down and got glasses for reading.

Best pizza I had - north of Verona

The aforementioned "satchel" and specs. The bag is of course hand-made from italian leather. 170 Euro - not cheap...but it's wonderful.

darin - my grandmother on Diana's side, she is from Lucca and still owns a home there somewhere, that's where she was born! I'm going to show her your pictures, she'll probably be thrilled!!

p.s. - WTF is on that pizza? Looks like bacon and oversized raisins! Nasty. Probably yummy tho!!

Did you get to see the statue of David? We stopped there on our way to Rome from Naples. There is so much History in that country, so much to see, and appreciate. We also got to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. A terrible way to see so much, from a bus in one day. Thanks for the photo's. One funny tidbit about Italy. We had a bus driver that stopped the bus on the way back to the ship. He said he was tired, and wanted to get something to eat. Nobody liked that...but..That's Italy.

We didnt see David :(. And we decided against the tower due to time constraints. Best thing is - florence is about an hour and 20 minutes away.

I will go back for sure.
