Wearing an orange jail jumpsuit, Carranza spoke softly through a translator. He had surrendered Thursday to Booker, who attended the arraignment.

"He knew maybe if he turned himself in to me he would be safer, but my focus was to get him off the streets," Booker said Friday during an appearance on CNN's "American Morning."

Carranza had been using a bogus Social Security number, Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura said. Carranza is an undocumented immigrant from Peru, his attorney acknowledged in court.
Carranza had been scheduled to appear in court Monday to answer two previous indictments. One accuses him of sexually assaulting and threatening to kill a 13-year-old, a girlfriend's child. Another charges him with an array of assault and weapons offenses.

What a surprise, this newest suspect is an Illegal as well.

What I don't get is how one of these shithead's was already in trouble with the police for sexually assaulting a 13 year old little girl and he was back out on the streets and able to murder three kids and seriously injure one other. There is something seriously wrong here. Why wasn't he being watched or deported? He has admitted useing a bogus Social Security Number.

This is the prime example of what kind of real danger we are in because of these Illegals and why we have to deal with this problem right now and put them in jail and send them back before more kids are raped or killed.

•A 15-year-old became the third person arrested, while 28-year-old Jose Carranza, an undocumented illegal immigrant from Peru, and a second 15-year-old are also behind bars. The "principal suspect," Jose Carranza, pled "not guilty" after turning himself into authorities.

•Carranza and the juveniles are charged with three counts of murder, four counts of first-degree robbery, one count of attempted murder, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery, and various weapons charges. Now, the manhunt is on for at least two other people believed to be involved in the brutal murders.

It also said on the episode tonight that the teenages arrested are Hispanic Immigrants. We need to get these Illegal's out now!

What we really need in this thread is OCA rallying behind the illegals.

Here we have this poor illegal in the country trying to make an Honest living and doing jobs that us poor, lazy Americans refuse to do.



Darn that won't work, we have plenty of people here already willing to shoot someone else for no reason. I guess we don't need these kinds of illegals afterall.

I actually worked in Newark for a few years after graduating from High School. My niece was (until a month or so ago) manager of the cafeteria of Rutgers in Newark. I went down to visit her, and believe you me, I was scared shitless! That town has really gone downhill! You can't even recognize the main street through the middle of town (which used to house Macy's, Bloomingdales, Orbachs among other big names). They are all gone! I put most of the blame on the last mayor of Newark - Sharp James who let the place go completely to pot. There are murders there all the time! I was never so happy as when my niece told me she found another job outside of that hellhole!
