Birth Control: Trump Expands Opt-Out for Workplace Insurance

The Trump administration is allowing more employers to opt out of providing no-cost birth control to women for religious and moral reasons.

The administration has issued a long-expected revision to Obama-era rules. The rules require most companies to provide birth control as preventive care for women, at no additional cost. Under the Affordable Care Act, preventive services are supposed to be free of charge to employees and their dependents.

The Trump administration's revision issued Friday expands a religious exemption that previously applied to houses of worship, religiously affiliated nonprofit groups, and closely-held private companies.

The share of women employees paying their own money for birth control pills has plunged to under 4 percent, from 21 percent, since contraception became a covered preventive health benefit, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Shut up, stupid. A few seconds to sign his name hardly impedes other work. Your lack of argument in even remotely touching the subject is telling. Your ignorance in thinking signing some regulations or the equivalent his holding him back from other jobs.

If all he takes is a few seconds to think of an issue, we got real problems.

Still retarded.

How long do you think it took him to sign something and put Gorsuch in the SC seat? Some issues are thought about and are a part of what someone believes. What do you think, that he either stops on an issue and therefore everything else in the WH and around the nation stops as a result? Or do you believe that he sleeps all day and blindly signs things? You're just looking for reasons to poke at him no matter what he does.

First you complain more or less that there are more important things going on, implying that what he is going is getting in the way of other things. Then when you are hit in the head with a brick called reality, you change your tune and complain that he doesn't spend enough time thinking or acting on an issue. Do you know how stupid you look right now?

I'm good with this, but if Viagra is still covered, that needs to go, too.

Screw like bunnies if you want, but don't take my money to do so.

So petey. Once again, you sound like you have no problem paying for birth control for all of the other uneducated females who live near you, unsuccessful, and constantly dependent on the govt. to pay their way?

You call it pandering in order to make excuses for how Obama jammed it down everybody's throat. How many single guys need to go to work and be told the MUST, BY LAW, pay for the girls they chase...to have birth control pills??
