Tony. The standing room seats were 4 bucks. The 400 level were 35 bucks. Lowest in history I believe. The seats are empty. There is no crowd noise on tv.

Doesn't matter. One year Washington and Dallas were both 0-4 on Monday night. They played opposite the baseball playoffs and crushed baseball.
No way that place is empty five years ago with same records. It's the hated Cowboys.

The team also sucks and has nothing to play moreJim's right ... you ARE a dumbass. A Cowboys-Redskins game with empty seats? They could be tied for last place in the NFL and Cowboys and Redskins fans are going to show.

No, Pete, this is your BLM "free speech" in action. In reverse. The players want their say? The fans are having theirs. 25% drop in attendance league wide and $20M in lost merchandising's worth of a say.

But you keep defending mixing your disrespecting the Colors politics with sports.

Wrong again. :)

Both teams stood at 5-6 entering last nights game. 6 teams from each conference make the playoffs. It would appear that the Iggles got the NFC East all but wrapped up. But outside potential division winners, 2 other teams will make the playoffs. I would say that 5-6 teams have a fairly decent shot, if the division leaders right now were to be the division winners.

Dallas, now 6-6
Seattle - 7-4
Detroit 6-5
Green Bay 5-6
Carolina 8-3
Atlanta 7-4

Now, my gut instinct tells me that the Carolina Panthers will be a shoe in for the 1st slot. So now you have one spot left, for those 5 remaining teams:

Seattle 7-4
Atlanta 7-4
Dallas 6-6
Detroit 6-5
Green Bay 5-6

So nothing to play for? They suck? Dak Prescott is doing more than great since he came to the NFL. Ezekiel Elliott is even better, but has 2 games left in his suspension. Dez Bryant is one of the best WR's in the NFL. They play for "America's Team" and have an owner that will spend any amount to win!

I say they have a shitload to play for, and right now everything is on the line - and the fans sure as hell know that!! And when Elliott returns? If they are in a prime spot when he comes back, they could easily go on a tear and get into the playoffs, and then some. Everyone is 0-0 when the playoffs start!!

The last time he had both, he won some Superbowls with Jimmy Johnson's teams.

Prescott is fine,b ut you can only run the same 4 plays against teams for so long. Last year, Prescott was a rookie that didn't flinch. Teams have him figured out.

I doubt they're going anywhere this year which is beside the point. For a Dallas game to not be packed to the rafters is unheard of. A dallas game in Dallas against the Redskins is usually guaranteed attendance.

Texans are very patriotic.

Don't underestimate them. Even without Elliott, and less than 25 passes from Prescott (but very accurate and good rating of a night for him), Alfred Morris still ran for nearly 130 yards on the evening. They have a fantastic front line and their running game is great.

Prescott is still going strong on those plays you speak of. They still have him running that college setup. But hell, even when he drops back in the pocket, he can be very accurate, and he's also not afraid to stay in the pocket, until the last second.

They MAY not go anywhere this year, but like I said, if they can stay decent and atop the pack until Elliott comes back, they may go on a tear. Then again, they may flop!

But regardless of all of that, still crazy that the attendance - in Dallas - is still an issue.

Texans are patriotic. But then again, they still have you, don't they? :finger4:

Matter of fact, I haven't watched a game this year either. I put MY money where MY mouth is :poke:. I don't "estimate" the Cowboys at all. Been the same since Johnson left. Every year. I only know about the empty seats because it made the news, and I know what a Redskins game in Dallas means. Football is worshiped second only to church in Texas.

I would NEVER question your service or patriotism. I was just messin with ya being in Texas, but certainly not your service, my friend! :salute:

I know, I learned that from Sheldon Lee Cooper :)

I admit I've been a bit of a hypocrite on this subject as it's hard to tear me away from my football. The Steelers got something missing this year. Ben is playing well, but something just isn't right. Same with Le'Veon Bell, not the same, but still leads the NFL in rushing. Antonio Brown is his usual self, and leads the NFL in receiving yards & receptions. They aren't clicking on all cylinders and yet sit atop their division, and the entire conference right now at 9-2.

Oh, and did I mention the youngest WR in the NFL? JuJu Smith-Schuster? Playing like a seasoned pro!

Oh, and did I mention that Martavis Bryant has returned?

If these guys get clicking. Antonio IS the nest WR in the NFL. Le'Veon is the best RB in the NFL, and is also considered one of the better WR's in the NFL. Then you have Martavis and JuJu, 2 more of the better WR's in the NFL. There defense which used to be their weak spot, is now one of the better defenses in the NFL.

Get to clicking!!
