I remember hearing it was how we would pay for preexisting conditions.

I have no idea. My insurance didn't change when the monkey started monkeying with the Constitution and healthcare. If I hadn't already had it, I would have been sure to not get any.

I am wondering if the whole thing will implode without the mandate. Course the penalties weren't high enough for it to work to begin with. I remember going to a conference put on by a labor attorney and thinking afterwards, This isn't even good socialism. Lol.

It was the mandate that anyone who Didn't want insurance from Obamacare was required to PAY not to PLAY. As for the pre-existing conditions. They were not included in the Mandate that was removed by the Tax Plan.

Remember how Nancy Pelosi said "We'll learn what's in the bill, after we vote for it?"
They never told anyone what the "TAX"(as called by the Supreme Court) would do to so many people.
