House Overwhelmingly Rejects Trump Impeachment Vote

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly rejected Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green’s bill to impeach President Donald Trump Wednesday on the House floor.

Green and five other House Democrats, introduced articles of impeachment against the president in November and listed a number of reasons they believe Trump should be impeached. He mentioned obstruction of justice, a violation of the Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause, a violation of the Constitution’s domestic emoluments clause, undermining the federal judiciary process and undermining the press.

As the bill was brought to the floor, Republicans called for a vote for the bill to be set aside. The vote to table the impeachment legislation was decided in a sweeping 364-58 vote.

Before the vote, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer told their Democratic colleagues in the House to stop pushing articles of impeachment against Trump.

Undermining the press? THERE's a new one

A good way around that, is to hit millions and millions and millions and millions - directly getting your message across via a platform known as twitter. Only thing is, the person doing the messaging, ought not to come off as a flaming psychotic cuckomonga man.

That is a ridiculous charge.

What they mean is: He is undermining the left's ability to control the media via the MSM. Too bad. My heart bleeds goblets of battery acid for them :)

Just about every heterosexual man on the planet better watch his back if they do that.

My opinion of Trump is a matter of record, as it was regarding Obama. Just as with the former, I've seen nothing thus far to bring impeachment into the discussion. I thought it nonsense back then, still nonsense today. "Wah, I don't like him, impeachment!" It shouldn't be even mentioned.

And those 58 Democrats are expected to help craft this nation's laws.

I truly shudder to think of what another 8 years of those idiots running the show would have done.

The leadership wanted the bill authors to withdraw this bill -- perhaps because its rejection would undermine any future serious attempts to impeach Trump.
