Trump just made the UN's naughty list, Santa's naughty list, probably that too.

Gravy. I doubt that Trump, or Niki Haley care much about any list from the U.N.
She told them..."We will be watching the vote." Telling all of the 128 countries....Without saying it...."Remember what you did, next time you need American Dollars!"

I report. You decide. Fair and balanced.

More like the U.N. just made president Trump's naughty list.

That worthless bunch of tin horn ass clowns has a lot more to lose than we do. We should kick the whole damn circus out to some third world shit hole like Cuba and let them foot the bill for ineptitude and incompetence.

Couldn't agree more.

For the life of me, I don't understand why the US gives the UN anything ... be it any funding, or any right to set up and maintain residence in New York. If the UN is so set upon defying the US, they shouldn't expect anything at all from you.

They should therefore offer to relocate. If they don't find the decency to make the offer, it should be made for them, in no uncertain terms. I'd suggest Trump attend the General Assembly building, give them a speech which makes the US case, then tell them that no case exists for further assistance of any type from America.

Sir Drummond. At first I couldn't understand why the US caters so much to the U.N. being in New York City. Then I remembered a conversation I had many years ago with a U.S. Navy officer I served with on my last ship before retiring.
Somehow, during a slow period in RADIO (communications room) where I worked,
and he had come to read his message traffic at the time; that it was a little known fact the US preferred to keep the UN in the US, as a means of being able to constantly monitor the actions of the rest of the World who would attend Security Council Meetings. He said it would be more difficult for us to observe, or monitor that body if they were in another nation's capitol.

<img src="http://www.english-online.at/government/peacekeeping/united-nations-peacekeeper.jpg">
Also, during the Clinton years. You may remember. Clinton gave control of the U.S. Military to a foreign leader, under the direction of the U.N. Where we were wearing BLUE HELMETS, and patches on U.S.Military people!!!
That didn't go over well. But Clinton was the CIC, and we followed orders.
Bottom line....today. I'd say kick them out of the country..after they PAY our 8 Billion back. And, lets not forget all of the UNPAID PARKING TICKETS in NYC!

A sort of 'keep your friends close, and your enemies closer' approach ? Makes sense, to a point. Still ... I'd think that enough is enough. The UN should undergo some introspective reform, or ... just clear off !!

We can surely cut off the gravy train. We pay 28.4% of the UN's entire budget, far more than anyone else. That tit can run dry... see how they like that... see if they're ready to keep crapping on us then after we dry up the cash.

The League of Nations: Wilson's worst idea, and he had a lot of bad ideas. (And some that were good, such as nationstates needing to have homogeneous populations to succeed. I wish the U.S. still did!)

Senator Lodge kept America out of this stupid League (set in Geneva) and they did nothing helpful AT ALL to prevent WWII, and disbanded in failure.

It would be very popular to throw out the UN and I wish Trump would do that. I look back on its history and I just cannot see the advantage for the United States.

Remember the barns across America? US OUT OF UN!

I VERY WELL remember that. One officer got court martialed for refusing to wear a blue helmet and UN patch and I agreed 100% with him. I joined the USMC to defend the US, not an incompetent bunch of PC internationals. Forget THAT shit.

Guess I'm glad it never came up because they used II MEF (East Coast) Marines and I was in I MEF. I was seriously thinking about taking the same stand. They didn't get the Lt on his idealism. They got him for refusing to obey a lawful order.

There was a lot of dissent and piss-poor morale when Clinton was CinC.

Gunny. Clinton was a turd anyway. I was on my ship during the HAITI uprising, and Clinton flew down to stay aboard the USS America CV-66 with his STAFF OF THIEVES.

They actually STOLE almost everything they wanted from the SHIP to take back with them. We even had to listen to Clinton Speak in the Hanger deck, and many of the sailors....actually turned their backs on him.
Clinton taught Obama and Hillary to be LIARS, and To STEAL from AMERICANS.

Clinton taught Obama and Hillary to be LIARS, and To STEAL from AMERICANS.I recall hearing a story when Clinton first became President. He was going to "tour" a ship. Don't recall which one.

Now you and I know what THAT means. Liberty is secured. Every inch gets scrubbed with a toothbrush. Twice. Apparently two Sailors questioned why and when they were told Clinton was coming they said who cares? Supposedly followed by Captain's Mast. When I heard the story I was like, I agree with the Sailors. Who cares?

Doesn't surprise me they stole everything that wasn't welded to the deck. Who's going to tell them no?

Gunny. Odd thing was, at that time. NOBODY had Liberty. There was no place to go in Haiti anyway. The poverty there is really bad. So bad, there are hardly any trees left for the people to use for cooking, or heat.
Our Corpsmen, and the Docs went ashore every day to treat the people. God Bless the Docs, and you know Gunny...When somebody yells "CORPSMAN!" they come.
