Case in point: Jerry Moonbeam just pardoned two illegals for felony convictions to throw shit in the Federal government's face yet again concerning their deportation.

Does a Governor have the power to pardon convictions? I thought only the President could. I know Governors can pardon prisoners, but it doesn't erase the convictions that I know of.

Can the US Federal government remove a sitting Governor for high crimes and misdemeanors?

One of the illegals has a conviction on "weapons charges". That's Federal. How can a State Governor grant clemency for a Federal conviction?

I thought we had a Civil War that decided this issue?

Only applies when they want to force queer marriage on the states.

Sounds very similar to how can a lower circuit court judge overrule the president of the United States?

These issues are ones that I believe need to be sorted out.
