I was not that kid! :laugh2: I got really upset if my hands got icky from anything, drove my mom nuts. Until I could feed myself with a spoon, I really hated to eat, as my hands would inevitably get into whatever was being shoveled. I'd cry and stop eating. LOL! I hated being dirty.

I was happy when none of my kids were like that, still remember having to turn the hose on my niece and Kendall after one of my brother's softball games after a rain. They found a puddle like that in the video. ;)

Normal and heathy kid!

I'd have probably got my ass tanned for doing that.

Somewhere I have a pic of me after a mountain bike race covered in mud from head to toe. Happy as a clam. Obviously I didn't win (Greg LeMond did) but drinking a cold beer afterward, I was still quite happy.

Same thing when I had my motocross bikes. Loved playing in the mud. Bitch cleaning it all out of the bikes afterward though.

Aaaaaaaaand what... you're proud of that?

That little kid needs an attitude adjustment.

No, not proud. Pride goeth before the fall. But I did plenty of attitude adjustments as a kid.

My dad called me Canoe Britches because he was always paddling them.

All we had in our backyard was dirt. After it rained. We took our trucks out into the mud to drive around the puddles. Later on, after elementary school let out for the Summer. A bunch of us would play Army out in the town park, along the creek, and we'd get muddy crawling through the bushes along the creek...using MUD BALLS we made, as hand grenades. We did this almost every Summer until we discovered GIRLS, CARS, and Drive-in movies.

I couldn't watch that all the way through. Did the police come? Obviously the parents don't care.

We got muddy and crappy in the creek all the time.

Mom washed us off with a garden hose! Never got mad, either.

Used to go into that creek and catch snapping turtles and water snakes
