There are only 4 of them and the best surf and heavy seas boats we have ever built.
They are slow, but can take on 50 foot seas and near hurricane force winds.

They plow through waves, not up and over them like the new 47 foot MLB's.

My favorite ship...The USS DAHLGREN DDG-43 was an Adams class DDG.

Go for it!

I pulled the trigger on our 3"/50 main deck gun. Rocking and rolling made sighting quite interesting!

My Dad was in the Navy, only 3 years, right at the end of WWII. He was the Quarter Master on the LST-611.

If I ever joined the Navy I'd want to be on a sub.
