I am not easily offended but I cringed a lot in this movie. Glad I went to see by myself. Woody Harrelson's best acting was when he was narrating off screen. Lot of crude words meant to depict southern white trash but so unnecessary to the story.

No clear resolution to any story line except the one about sheriff.

Academy award nominated but I would not recommend to anyone.

It seems to me. The movies these days that win the most awards, also have the most nudity, street, swear words, and actual breaking of human rules to impress those who follow NONE.

Yeah... I won't be watching that. NO ONE talks like that in public. That is HOLLYWEIRD's warped interpretation, and there really isn't any call for it. Might actually be a good movie if they'd have kept all that toilet mouth out of it.

Do I say fuck now and then? Yep. Do I say fuck all day, every day and in every situation even to strangers? Not even close. That's why I have a stack of about 175 movies that I'm going to put on ebay. I've watched them ONCE, and not a one of them is worth watching a second time. They're either too stupid or the language is uncalled for. In fact, I won't be buying any more movies unless I think they're well worth it. I'll be renting the ones I'm not sure about from now on from Amazon Prime or something else.

Does anyone on DP remember when men treated ladies like ladies, and didn't swear around them for any reason....Namely....Mom, at the dinner table??

Also, does anyone remember when Women, Ladies, Girls, Females had CLEAN MOUTH'S and didn't want, or need to constantly be in competition for swearing the dirtiest words, or use sewer words to demonstrate that they WEREN'T REALLY LADIES????

Feminists decided they were equal to men in every way. So....I dare any one of them to STAND IN FRONT OF A URINAL and pee!http://icansayit.com/1apages/HILL.JPG

Yep... I never swore in front of my parents even as an adult. I remember slipping the F bomb a time or two and I was embarrassed. But GI's do use it a lot, so it was hard to keep that under wraps. But I did because I loved and respected my folks, and they never talked like that either. In fact, my Dad was 85 when he passed, and my Ma is still kickin' at 89, and I honestly can't recall either of them EVER saying fuck. I really long for the old days sometimes.
