Interesting, and I was just reading a story about how Trump and others need to understand that the economy and it's success at this point is because of Obama. Maybe he shares this one too. :)

Or maybe it's because of the memo and instability at the moment. I expect it to slowly crawl back to where it is within a short amount of time. :)

Except for your stocks of course, we can hope. :)

BS. petey. How come you said nearly nothing about the nearly 100 consecutive days of the DOW, on WALL STREET increases that set records?

Besides. It wasn't a crash today. It's all in the adjustment of funding, buying, and selling normally done when the market moves too quickly.

Furthermore....I AM HAPPY YOU LOST ANYTHING. You needed something to complain about again, and in a few days. When the Markets LEVEL OFF. You should come here and complain about MAKING MONEY again....and blame that on something else. Your Hypocrisy arrived here first.

Fake news, I've made a few posts, I know Jim knows that I have loved the bull market the past year. And I know Trump is not responsible for the crash. I'm just making it a point, maybe Trump shouldn't try to take credit all the time otherwise you will own losses.

Since you practice using, and creating FAKE NEWS. Why not stop faking, and get a life?

You've made several in responses to threads. But it's not like you started any yourself, any to give Trump credit in any form. You seemed to begrudgingly accept the positive in the market since it brought you financial gain.

But yes, you have replied and acknowledged the great market.

And yes, Trump should be less in the "taking credit for everything department", of which he does too much of. But on the other side of the coin, you and other dem supporters should be more vocal about the successes. :)

That's why you said thanks trump.

And as if the ethnic wonder didn't take credit for all the stock market gains when he was president. And whenever it tanked , he blamed bush.

Essentially when trump was running , he was going to crash the economy . Then he took office, the market skyrocketed, and trump had nothing to do with the economy. Now it's down 1500 points over two days and trump is responsible again.

And the only reason the stock market saw any gains during the kenyan's years was because of the $85 BILLION A MONTH being pumped into it as QUANTITATIVE EASING by the obama ass kissing fed chairman.

Of course we have no way of knowing one way or another whether or not you have a dime in the stock market, your statement is a farce of course, because even if you did lose money yesterday, which was 99% caused by COMPUTER ALGORITHMS selling off, you'd still be UP money since Trump took office. The stock market GAINED 8,000 points, and is only down about 1,100 right now, and you watch, when it opens today, there'll be bargain hunters buying up stocks like crazy, because the economy is booming, businesses are booming, the GDP is booming, this is nothing more than a small adjustment because the FED warned the obama money for nothing days are probably over and interest rates might tick up.

So why don't you be HONEST for once when you come here and tell the WHOLE STORY, the WHOLE TRUTH, instead of leaving your ASININE little leftist HACK ass bombs.

Dow closes 567 points higher after crazy market swings

After two huge sell-offs in a row, U.S. stocks were all over the map on Tuesday. Investors blamed the wild moves on a combination of interest-rate fears, computer-driven trading and the obscure volatility funds that use leverage.

The Dow Jones industrial average opened with a big whoosh lower, then rallied all the way back. The Dow closed 567.02 points higher at 24,912.77 and rose as much as 600.48 points. At its session low it was down by 567.01 points. It traded in a range of 1,167.49 points. DowDuPont was the best performer on the Dow, rising nearly 6 percent.

By Lewis Krauskopf

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Shaken out of many months of calm, Wall Street braced for a higher level of volatility in the days ahead, after a roughly 2 percent rebound in U.S. stocks on Tuesday followed the biggest one-day selloff in more than six years.
The question that vexed traders: were the wild swings of the past two days the start of a deeper move down or just clearing the way to the resumption of the aging bull market, which would turn nine on March 9.
“Today’s market action is a classic of a market that has searched for a bottom,” said Peter Cardillo, chief market economist at First Standard Financial In New York, who predicted a rebound back to record levels.
Bulls argue that strong U.S. corporate earnings, including a boost from the Trump administration’s tax cuts, will ultimately support market valuations. Bears, including short sellers that bet on the market decline, say that the market is over-stretched in the context of rising bond yields as central banks withdraw their easy money policies of recent years.

I'm with you, Gunny. I have exactly ZERO money in the stock market.

There's indian casinos all around here in WI too, but after living 8 years in Nevada, both in Vegas and Reno, if I ever step foot in another casino again it'll be too soon. The only reason I'd ever go to a casino again would be for the buffet and a show... ;)

I used to be addicted, like for real. For about 2 years I ate breakfast more times at Potawatomi Casino than at my house.

I saw how easy it would be to lose a shitload in one evening. Slots started out good, increasing
each turn by 100%, then all of a sudden the bottom drops out!

Nope! Not gonna fall into that trap!

Nope! Not gonna fall into that trap!:laugh:I actually won at slots the one time I played them. We had slot machines in the NCO Club in Okinawa. We were broke and I said WTF. I win or we go home. Didn't have enough to do anything else. Won $100 on 50 cents. I'm the kind of gambler they hate. Took my money and ran. Payday was the next day (a Mon) so I had plenty of money for 3 of us at 1983 prices on the Rock :)

Should have seen the dinner buffet at the Hilton in Reno, it was half a city block long. You couldn't eat something of everything in a dozen different visits, all for $7.95

Nothing like a casino buffet.

Even still they aren't like they used to be. Even just 12 years ago you could get all you could eat crab legs at MGM for like $10. Not anymore.

So, the Dow is up to 25,200 now --- well on it's way to recovery of the high. (That was 26,600, approx.)

That certainly was a panic --- short but sharp. The market had been bubbly -- up 6,000 since Trump was elected, talk about needing to take the punch bowl away!

When it went from the 25,000s to 26,000 in two weeks, I think everyone who follows it, and we do, said, "Oh, great!........Oh, wait........" after which there was a panic. Hopefully over, but if it takes a half or whole year to reach the high, that would suit me fine.

Everybody loves the Trump Bump, but let's not get carried away.
