It’s not just Robert Mueller: In four different instances in the past four weeks, the U.S. government, often with allies throughout the world, has publicly called out Russia’s bad online behavior and made clear it is behaving as an outlaw nation.

Yes, diverting attention away from what China is doing and Iran and N.Korea, etc.
I learned a long time ago not to watch the hand the magician wants me to watch.
Dem party and its allies are pro-China--thus it seeks to stir hatred and aggression against Russia by way of proxy-- namely by way of USA.
Also very convenient to divert attention away from Islam..
Forgive me for not being distracted, its a habit I have..
I try my best to do nothing the dem party wants me to do see or agree with- tis always a safe bet as to being a good citizen and a patriot that way..
China is acting up(claiming territory that does not belong to it-- --but hey lets ignore its threats and concentrate on RUSSIA.
THAT DOG JUST DONT HUNT WITH ME, MY FRIEND.. -Tyr

Putin, andhis Russia have been a Rogue State for as long as he has been there.

Nothing new. We went from the 1950's to the 1990's in THE COLD WAR. And to be honest. That COLD WAR never really ended.

The Soviet Union and the United States - Revelations from the ...

The distinct differences in the political systems of the two countries often prevented them from reaching a mutual understanding on key policy issues and even, as in the case of the Cuban missile crisis, brought them to the brink of war. The United States government was initially hostile to the Soviet leaders for taking Russia ...

Crazy as it may sound, I miss the Cold War. Not because I'm a nutcase like Balu. But because it was really easy then. We were the good guys. They were the bad guys. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the World didn't have some freakin' jihad going on. Suicidal dumbasses like NK and Iran didn't have nukes. And as stupid, pointless and sometimes so drama-queenish it was comical as the Cold War was, nobody really wanted to die.

Now we have cyber wars and Russia's a giant troll? Great. Whatever happened to just shooting at each other? At least it was up front and honest.

Let's get a few things straight Balu.

Stalin sided with Nazi Germany initially.

Stalin also murdered 8 of his top 13 field commanders.
Dumb dictator move.

The Nazi forces turned on Russia.

If it were not for the USA, You sorry-ass Russians would be speaking German or Chinese.
Hitler's biggest mistake was attacking in the winter. Otherwise you'd have been shoved into China.

USA sending aircraft, tanks, food, and supplies was all that saved your lousy asses....ALL by the USA.

I disagree however that ultimately, Germany would have defeated Russia. Russia is just TOO damned big and got too many people all of who Stalin felt were quite worthy of being targets.

Germany did not have the manpower to occupy Russia. THAT was Hitler's biggest folly. He tried to get too much too soon and left too may fires burning that needed to be put out at once. He should have secured Europe completely, then at least neutralized England before trying on Russia. As it was, he had to deal with England, partisans in Hungary, the French underground, Warsaw, Mussolini's mess in N Africa and supplies coming from the US. So attacking Russia PERIOD was just stupid.

His problem was he needed the oil. Once he was stopped in Russia and Egypt, he was kind of screwed. He should have taken Egypt and secured it prior to attacking Russia. Then he would have opened up the entire ME for himself.

Attacking Russia at all (and yes, attacking in late summer just added to the stupidity) was just a dumb move and it cost him a continent and a war.
