Hah ! With our recent blizzards in the UK, I could probably send thousands of them.

This, from the Daily Express ... they offer a slideshow of them ...

A myth, nothing more than climate change this planet experiences every 5 to 10 thousand years.

Take a ride to Minnesota.....get all the snow that you do no believe happens!:laugh:I don't mind snow. Any REAL snow would shut this city down completely. I just want it to be cold or hot. Either can be dealt with. This middle of the road sh*t we call "winter' here is a total PIA. COld or hot - 2 sets of clothes. Here? About 5. Cold, hot and three variations in between.

Snow used to shut down the whole Virginia Tidewater region, as well as in South NJ.
I used to shrug it off. We got it all the time in West Virginia.

Snow does not bother me at all. Ice storms and sleet make for bigger problems.

Completely agree about the ice. WAY more dangerous.

Tidewater VA and South NJ have no snow removal gear. It is contracted out.
One storm in NJ only my boss and I with one other could make it into work
because we had big 4WD's

Storm in Yorktown VA shut off everything. OCS classes cancelled and only
the clinic was open.

We get occasional freezing fog here. That is nasty! Black ice all over,
vehicle doors iced shut, auto's slipping and sliding all over..

Nasty!

Nasty!I don't remember what they had in Norfolk. I think we just got the day off. Was cool in Central IL. Every farmer had a plow for his tractor.

Speaking of ... too bad that storm HPD posted above doesn't drop a little further south and wipe Peoria off the map. Talk about making a fondest wish come true.

It got down to the low 50's here. Started thinking about breaking out the electric heaters

That it did!

23 inches was a devastating blast in 1979!
