This is great. All calls are investigated for their merit, and many cause a needless, usually
massive search to be conducted. That engages assets that might be needed elsewhere for
a genuine emergency, putting a burden on units and possibly having to draw other units
in to cover their AOR.

These idiots do not know that in addition to the Federal sentencing guidelines as shown in the U.S. CFR, they can
be required to reimburse the government for the cost of the search(es). That can amount to thousands or
hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on the number of searches and duration of them.
