I've been there a few times... Goldfield, NV... the old GoldField Hotel, about halfway between Reno and Vegas.

Virgil Earp, Wyatt Earp's brother, was a Deputy Sheriff in Goldfield in 1905. He died of complications with pneumonia that same year at the hospital in town. His remains were shipped to Portland, OR where he was buried at the request of his daughter, Nellie Jane.
