OAN NewsroomUPDATED 7:47 a.m. – Wed. April 11, 2018A California lawmaker introduces a bill to stop companies from implementing a tax on products based on gender.
Democrat representative Jackie Speier proposed the “Pink Tax Repeal Act” Tuesday, which would allow federal authorities to penalize companies which price women’s goods higher than men.
According to a study from 2015, women’s products are priced seven percent higher than the male versions of the same items, from deodorants to scooters.
Speier says the bill is essential for women’s’ rights and to ensure they aren’t hit with a ‘double whammy’, where they’re paid less and forced to pay more for products.

:blabla:Women's rights issue ....

So what's the real reason for the tax? I know somebody didn't just say "let's take women because they have two "X" chromosomes" . There's got to be money behind it. Anybody know?

A stupid tax, btw.

It is kind of short-sighted to me.

As far in debt as that state is, someone wants to repeal a tax?

They sure have some strange agents in Sacramento!
