OAN NewsroomUPDATED 12:00 p.m. PT – Wed. April 11, 2018A new poll suggests nearly half of American voters support the Trump Administration in sending troops to secure the southern border.
Wednesday’s poll (https://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000162-b16e-d2e5-ade3-f17e749a0002) from Politico and the Morning Consult shows 49 percent of voters approve of the measure, while 42 percent are opposed and 9 percent have no opinion on the matter.
Specifically, 84 percent of Republicans support sending the National Guard to the border, compared to 22 percent of Democrats. The poll also shows voters trust Republicans more than Democrats with immigration policy.
The poll is based on information collected from about 2,000 people between April 5th and April 7th, with a margin of error of two percentage points.
Last week President Trump signed an order to deploy National Guard troops to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.

Disclaimer for pete311 : I am aware it is a poll. You hate it. It's wrong because it doesn't say what you want. Etc.

For the rest: Just an FYI. It IS a poll. I take them with a grain of salt myself. I just noticed that even if you DOUBLE the margin of error the Dems still lose
