President Trump says he has ordered U.S. forces to launch precision strikes against chemical weapons facilities in Syria.
The president made the surprise announcement Friday, saying France and the U.K. joined the U.S. in coordinated attacks.
Three separate bombings occurred at three different facilities throughout the country, according to reports.
President Trump condemned the actions of Russia and Iran for their actions assisting the Assad regime.
Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antanov condemned the attack, and indicated Russia may up the anty as he said there will be consequences.
Presdient Trump added the actions taken by the three-country coalition aren’t only to save (http://www.oann.com/pres-trump-conducts-strikes-in-syria/#) civilian lives abroad, but defend Americans here at home.
Officials are certain the Assad regime used the outlawed weapons of war against his own people, according to the Defense Department.
Defense Secretary James Mattis said this attack was bigger in scope than last year’s strike (http://www.oann.com/pres-trump-conducts-strikes-in-syria/#) on a Syrian airfield.
The strikes targeted multiple chemical weapons facilities, instead of just a single airbase like we saw last year.
President Trump said the U.S. is prepared to continue taking a reciprocal response until the Syrian government stops its use of chemical weapons.
Syria’s presidency has since responded to the attack, saying “good souls will not be humiliated.”

I'm just staring at the header. "Pres. Trump Conducts Air Strikes". In Air Force One, or what? He must be more talented than I thought fi he can fly his own sortie.

And WHO THE F*CK paid this a$$clown to spell? "Anty"? Really? An international journalist gets his ass kicked by a 2 syllable word. Probably did more damage than the air strikes.

If everybody feels better can we just leave? If THIS is how we are going to conduct military operations, we just need to leave the place to the idiots that are willing to kill for it. Our price tag apparently doesn't go high enough to compete.

Isn't it awful to be a literary critic?

Well, not really! I cringe at some things I see in supposedly 'professional' writings.

The news today is saying Trump means to do both: hit Syria if necessary for chemical attacks, AND get our troops out of Syria.

Why not? It's the destroyer sitting in the Mediterranean that is firing the finely targeted Cruise missiles --- I suppose you all saw the pinpoint destruction of that whole chemical warfare site and nothing else.

I like this a lot. Getting out of Syria, a lost cause, but shelling whenever they step over the red line.
