I want Rudy in a more powerful position when this is done. How about replacing sessions with him.

This is so weird. I was just saying to Russ yesterday that I haven't heard anything about Rudy for a long time, and I wish Trump would find a spot for him.

Great move... Rudy knows NYC, and I've thought of him as kind of a no BS, pit bull kinda guy.

Dershowitz: Trump Bringing on Giuliani a 'Very Wise Decision'
It was wise for President Donald Trump to bring former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani onto his personal legal team, Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz said Thursday night.
Giuliani "is one of the most effective and successful prosecutors in the history of the Southern District,” Dershowitz told Fox Business' "Kennedy." "I think it was probably a very wise decision for the president to bring Giuliani on board. He knows all the tricks. He knows all the tactics.”
In addition to attracting the nation's admiration following the 9-11 attacks in New York City, when he was dubbed as "America's Mayor," Giuliani was a powerful United States attorney for the Southern District of New York in the 1980s, when he prosecuted some of the district's most high-profile cases, including the Mafia Commission trial in 1985.
Giuliani, 73, said he is joining the team to try to negotiate an end to special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian actions during the 2016 presidential election.
"I'm doing it because I hope we can negotiate an end to this for the good of the country and because I have high regard for the president and for Bob Mueller," Giuliani told The Washington Post.

Sessions needs a bit more time. DOJ was an unmitigated clusterfuck when he inherited it and it's coming around - and really, how could it be anything else after Holder and then Lynch running it?
I didn't agree with his decision to recuse himself, but that's spilled milk.
Rosenstein definitely needs to be fired, though. He's dirty.

Rudy took direct control and charge of the initial response in NYC after the 9/11 attacks.
Up to that point, the NYFD and NYPD operated out of separate command centers,
and the response was very confusing.
Rudy took control personally and got the job going as best as could be done in the
initial pandemonium.
From his example is how the Bush Administration designed the National Disaster
Preparedness Plan also using one that California Department of Forestry Fire (Now
CALFire) used as a template.

For quite some time, I have been of the belief that Mueller made a deal with the devil on the Uranium One deal to get one last payoff in exchange for years of public service. After all, he saw the Clintons raking it in without fear of legal recourse so why not get a taste before retiring? After realizing his legal exposure in the deal (or having it spelled out for him by Clinton enforcers) he saw as his only way to protect himself was to become the Grand Inquisitor. With an unlimited budget, time frame and room to roam, he figured he could run out the clock and people would eventually lose interest in coming after him.
Could it be that Rudy is on to his game and is willing to negotiate an acceptable end to the madness not only for Trump but for Mueller as well?
