The former son-in-law of Paul Manafort is now required (http://www.oann.com/report-manaforts-former-son-in-law-cuts-plea-deal-will-cooperate-with-govt/#) to cooperate with federal authorities, after cutting a plea deal with the Justice Department.
A recent report suggests Jeffrey Yohai, who divorced Manafort’s daughter last August, could be asked to assist with the Special Counsel’s probe.
Yohai’s agreement involved him pleading guilty to misusing construction funds, and a count related to bank (http://www.oann.com/report-manaforts-former-son-in-law-cuts-plea-deal-will-cooperate-with-govt/#) overdraft fines.
Yohai has reportedly not yet been told how he’ll be called on to cooperate as part of the plea agreement.
Legal experts said, it could be part of a campaign to apply pressure on Manafort in order to get him to plead guilty, and assist prosecutors with their probe.
