2 Shot At Louie's On Lake Hefner; Suspect Killed By Armed Patron

OKLAHOMA CITY - Two people were shot Thursday night at a popular restaurant on Lake Hefner in northwest Oklahoma City, police said.
The shooting occurred near Louie’s Grill & Bar at 9401 Lake Hefner Parkway around 6:30 p.m.

According to Captain Bo Mathews with the Oklahoma City Police Department, the suspect entered the restaurant and opened fired.

One adult female and one juvenile female was shot. They were both transported to OU Medical Center and are undergoing surgery at this time.

A man that was trying to flee from the scene, fell and broke an arm.

Capt. Mathews says when the suspect exited the restaurant, he was confronted by a citizen who took out his own firearm, shooting and killing the suspect.

I hope to hear the details of the shooting. If the perp was exiting - leaving the scene and was no longer a threat, the guy who shot him could face charges.

If the perp, when confronted, raised his hands and was shot....that's bad. If the Perp was running away and was shot in the back and killed - that's iffy.


But I am happy to know there are good people with good weapons willing to at least try and help.

Well that's the point... you won't hear... because the details of the shooting include a good guy with a gun taking out a bad guy with a gun, and that doesn't fit in with the DEMOCRAT PROPAGANDA WING's agenda.

But I am happy to know there are good people with good weapons willing to at least try and help.I doubt he'll face charges even if the suspect was exiting if he was still armed. He had already proven he would use the firearm. And we ARE talking Oklahoma.

I'd like to see the follow-up on this as well. I am going to assume that "confronted" means he wasn't shot in the back.

This story is on right now... evidently the gunman was exiting the establishment, and the other guy pulled up in car and confronted him, told him to drop the weapon, gunman raised the weapon and aimed to fire again and the good guy shot him dead. People want to thank the good guy for taking him out.
