UPDATED 1:21 PM PT — Fri. May 25, 2018Iran is threatening to pull out of the nuclear deal if economic incentives are not protected by other countries who remain a part of the agreement.
During a meeting in Vienna Friday, Iran’s Vice Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned it will withdraw from the multilateral accord if the EU, China and Russia cave into U.S. pressure to reinstate economic sanctions.
The Iranian diplomat added, the Islamic Republic needs a guarantee it will be able to continue to sell its oil on world markets, have international banking (http://www.oann.com/iran-threatens-to-pull-out-of-nuclear-deal-if-economic-incentives-not-protected/#) access (http://www.oann.com/iran-threatens-to-pull-out-of-nuclear-deal-if-economic-incentives-not-protected/#) and broad trade protections.

“We need both legal and political commitments by the remaining participants of the JCPOA, that they can continue the JCPOA with Iran without the U.S. and they can provide Iran with the benefits of sanction-lifting,” stated Araghchi.
Iran’s latest threat comes after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called for negotiations for a new deal last week, where he demanded Iran cut ties with terror groups like Hamas and halt its missile program.
Secretary Pompeo warned Iran to agree to these demands, otherwise, the U.S. will impose tough economic sanctions.

And Iran is not going to agree to Pompeo's demands. THAT is what I see as "not happening".
