Yesterday my son was awarded his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Samuel Merrick University
in Oakland CA.

I wrote on a card given to him: "Smiling...Pleased....PROUD! What else can I say?"

That is OUT-FREAKIN'-STANDING, bro... congratulations to you and your son!!!

I don't know many people with a PHD... that's an incredible accomplishment.

(I'm assuming a doctorate is a PHD?)

Ya gotta be a PROUD DAD... job well done, man... that's awesome.

A lot different from the 30 year old waste case that thinks he can live in his mommy and daddy's basement forever...

I did a bit of research on this and offer a clarification.

DPT is NOT the same as PhD. I am sorry for the confusion. PhD infers a position of research,
whereas a DPT degree is more of a clinical title:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_of_Physical_Therapy

He already had his Bachelor's of Physical Therapy (BPT) from Humboldt State University CA.
