UPDATED 10:09 AM PT — Fri. June 1, 2018United Nations envoy Nikki Haley said the U.S. will veto an anti-Israel resolution over the ongoing Gaza tensions.
Late Thursday, Haley blasted the resolution proposed by Kuwait as “one-sided” and “morally bankrupt.”
She said the measure would hamper Israel’s ability to defend itself against the violence of Islamic terror group Hamas, which is backed by Iran.
The drafted resolution would mandate Israel to open (http://www.oann.com/un-envoy-haley-to-block-morally-bankrupt-anti-israel-resolution/#) its border with Gaza and deploy a UN force to the region.
Haley pointed out the resolution doesn’t mention (http://www.oann.com/un-envoy-haley-to-block-morally-bankrupt-anti-israel-resolution/#) attacks against Israeli soldiers perpetrated by Hamas.
“It is outrageous for the Security Council to fail to condemn Hamas rocket attacks against Israeli civilians while the Human Rights Council approves sending a team to investigate Israeli actions taken in self defense,” said Haley.

Good on her. I guess. Like everyone didn't know it was coming before it was typed. If it isn't the US blocking a UN resolution, it's Russia or China. There's no point to them.
If they DID pass one, what would it mean? The UN would .....?
