"A pimp, brothel owner, and HBO adult reality star won the Republican primary for the Nevada state Legislature on Tuesday, The Reno Gazette-Journal reported (https://www.rgj.com/story/news/politics/2018/06/12/dennis-hof-has-narrow-lead-assembly-race/697132002/).

Dennis Hof, who authored the book “The Art of the Pimp,” ousted James Oscarson, a three-term lawmaker and hospital executive."

Most brothels operate in rural areas of Nevada but are banned in the counties that contain Las Vegas and Reno. Hof said Tuesday he's downsizing his business by selling off some brothels to focus more on politics.

Pretty sure you guys trashed Stormy Daniels.

Folks here went after her because she worked at a brothel? Can you link please? I don't recall many trashing her for reasons related to anything with a brothel. Nor much about her even being a stripper. I do recall some stuff condemning her and her lawyer for certain actions though.

Stripper, adult film star and a brothel whore are the same thing. I remember in the threads there was so much nasty stuff about her and her legal profession and how untrust worthy she is because of her work. But a male owner of a brothel. We champion that guy, right....

Again, link? I want to read where/who made all the condemnations about her career choices when/if in a legal industry. Anyone can claim to remember all kinds of things, but I'd like to read it, thanks.

Dude, ABBEY of all people showed her disgust about the sex industry. Not one other person condemned anything at all about her legal jobs.

I feel your pain Pete. Just think, if you were an influential member of the media you could just send a text to Media Matters and they could forward you any number of misleading and out of context quotes you could use to support your argument as well as the approved talking points to respond with!

Just for the record, I've MET Hoff. As I've mentioned before, he used to show up at Reno HD every once and awhile with his PINK Harley trike. I think the guy is a bombastic buffoon, but if it came down to him or a democrat, I'd vote for a bombastic buffoon republican over a dog turd democrat any day, because even the worst republican is better than a shit stain democrat.
