The American Legion is having it's national meeting here in Reno next week, and President Bush plans to attend. I will be there. I'd love to able to meet Bush and tell him he's fucking nuts to want to give illegal aliens amnesty. In any case, I'll try and get close enough to take pictures.

No. I personally don't like the man, and he's made me regret ever voting for him. However, I've never seen nor had the opportunity to meet a sitting President. Too bad this opportunity has to be with him.

Give him a big smooch for me, and tell him that he is in my prayers. Hmm, maybe the smooch wouldn't work too well!

I've never met an American President, sitting or otherwise. Sounds like an interesting event though.

Yea, im sure that Pale is going to walk up to the President and give him a big kiss, although I would pay good money to see that. I am sure that the Secret Service would be to stunned to do anything about it.:laugh2:

I am NOT happy with the man. I'd rather bitch slap him up side the head and ask him why he's doing his best to sell America down the road to a pack of illegals and the NAU.

But seriously, I think he most likely does not have the ear of the people. The guy is an ivy leaguer from nearly birth. He is in a virtual ivory tower. As stupid as Clinton was, he tried to get the ear of the people. IMO, this is Bush's biggest weakness. He views the presidency from an Ivy league/old school attitude that believes "we know what is best, so when we say so or do so, you just need to accept it."

He has made good decisions, I think his advisors control him far to much. Let's face it, the man is not a "natural" leader.

Ya got a point there Yurt. He does do things with utter disregard of what the American people want, i.e., the mexican invasion. The American people, by almost a total majority, want the border sealed and the illegals deported. But instead of acting on behalf of the American people, bush totally ignores what the people want, and instead tries to hand over America on a silver platter to the illegals. It makes one wonder what the fuck is motivating the son of a bitch. It may be that "ivy league" theory of yours Yurt. He sure acts like he's going to do what ever the hell HE wants, and the American people be damned.

Too true Pale. It is unfortunate that politicos (Dem and GOP) are more interested in getting re-elected than what is best for the American people.

You will certainly be escorted to jail or the "free speech zone" where you will have to hob nob with ass holes like me or get your dumb discombobulated ass kicked as soon as you show your chicken shit ass for what you really are, pr.

Can't get in. Bush is speaking to American Legion state delegates only, and for only fifteen minutes. In a way I'm glad. I didn't want him to be the first President I've ever seen. I'd rather it be Tancredo.

I met Carter as well his son was campaigning for Senate here in Nevada in the last election. He got slaughtered in the voting booths though, not a big surprise that guy was a huge carpetbagger and he even said he was one during a debate, I am not sure how that was supposed to work out..............
