Damn, about fricking time. The fact that he was there at all once the texts were released was head shaking. But "disciplinary action"? It better be firing, as no way this man should be at the FBI.

And "unfounded" personal attacks? Are you kidding me? And he is somehow owed something? GTFOOH - get the fuck out of here!

Nothing he says will change or excuse what he said with Lisa Page.

Report: FBI Agent Peter Strzok Escorted Out of Headquarters

FBI agent Peter Strzok, who sent text messages expressing bias against President Donald Trump, was escorted out of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s headquarters on Tuesday as part of disciplinary action, according to multiple reports.

Strzok’s lawyer, Aitan Goelman, issued a statement that said Strzok “remains a proud FBI agent who wants to continue working to keep the American people safe.”

Goelman said Strzok was the target of “unfounded personal attacks, political games and inappropriate information leaks.”

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz last week released a report that said Strzok had sent a text message that indicated a “biased state of mind” and a “willingness to act” against Trump’s election.

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who also worked on the Hillary Clinton email investigation, sent Strzok a message in August 2016 that said: “[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!”

Strzok, who was the lead investigator on both the Clinton email investigation and the Trump-Russia investigation, responded: “No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it.”

Horowitz’s report said investigators did not have confidence that Strzok’s bias did not play a role in his lack of action in the fall of 2016, when FBI agents in New York discovered thousands of Hillary Clinton emails on aide Huma Abedin’s husband Anthony Weiner’s laptop.

They're starting to report on this story this morning, but I hear he's "still employed by the FBI." Escorted out, yes, but still getting PAID.

Never had a job in my life where I got paid and didn't have to show up. How is it these government jack offs get paid and don't have to show up?

I honestly don't care that he made statements about Trump. I don't care that he apparently has a hate-on for him either. That is an individual's Right in this country.

What I DO care about is his using/misusing/abusing his position within the US government to try and alter the results of a US Presidential election. That sh*t sure as Hell wasn't tolerated in the Marine Corps. You put on that uniform and you represent the US, not a political party. The same is supposed to be true of ALL Federal government employees.

Amen brother, the one thing that was pounded into our heads when going on liberty was the fact that our action reflect on our nation, so do what is right and correct.

So very true!

Political discussion or argument was not tolerated in the workplace.

They even went so far as to prohibit political bumper stickers on vehicles on base.

As it should be!

Yeah I don't recall having ANY politically related discussions while on base, or while in uniform.

Yeah I don't recall having ANY politically related discussions while on base, or while in uniform. We didn't. If for no other reason, self-preservation. You go announcing you're a Trump fan and the LT is a Trump-hater, there goes every eval you get while he's your Reporting Senior on your Fitness Report (or whatever else y'all call personnel eval's).

Politics and religious discussion was frowned upon. There were proper times and places for those so inclined. I was always inclined to cover my six and keep my mouth shut.
