24 years

Today is my 24th wedding anniversary! I'm surprised myself that it's lasted, so not a word! :)

We had our share of rough patches like any marriage but we always talk things out and compromise or do what's best for our family. After you're married long enough, you don't have to "make" it work anymore, it just kinda happens naturally. And after 24 years I am just as happy today as I am the day I married her. :)

It's an odd year, not 25, so I wanted to get her a little something nice besides jewelry and in addition to regular flowers and what not. I got similar on like our 4th anniversary or so many moons ago, but just a regular one. This time I got one with all the extras!

What ya think, will she like I hope? She LOVES fruit! The donuts are made out of some big special appples that they slice to make look like a donut and then dip it in chocolate!!! And yes, it was expensive for fruit, I'm much too lazy this morn to blur out the pricing crap.

It means a lot to keep your word at your wedding vowels being honored. Congrats to both of You. Show this to your wife too!

Here's a pic of the fruit basket before she/we dove in and tried some. MMmmmmm, belgian chocolate dipped strawberries! Yum! All is fantastic! 'Cept for the donuts. I thought they would look and be the size of regular donuts, just made of apple, and that's exactly how they appear on their site, they even show them in a box like D&D. But they are lollipop size, and in fact on sticks, so they really are lollipops, just belgian chocolate covered apple lollipops! Still yummy!
