Now those are the kind of people I call "heros."

Same goes for the incredibly brave men and women that rescued all those kids in Thailand.

I've mentioned before that back in 1969 we had a foreign exchange student from Thailand. I've linked to her facebook page below, and her husbands. Well, her and her husband own a very upscale and large restaurant in Bangkok, and to say they're very well off is an understatement. Her husband, Sutas, is even related to the Thai royal family. They are avid travelers and seems like they're always gone. They've been here to visit us in America 3 times so far, the last being shortly after my Dad pasted away. Dang wanted to see her "Dad's" grave. But they have extended invitations to us all to come visit Thailand time and time again, and I mean, ALL EXPENSES PAID. I've disgusted going with my younger sister I don't know how many times. I'm just not all in on the idea. I'm sure we'd be pampered, waited on and stay in their new mansion in Bangkok, with servants. I just wouldn't want to unknowingly insult someone, or turn down the food in their restaurant and want a cheese burger instead. I think they'd understand. They love our American breakfasts', like bacon and eggs, toast, sausage... but IDK... if I'm ever to go, it should be soon. I get any older I probably just wouldn't enjoy it, and I can skip riding the elephants too.

Sorry for the thread hijack... I've just been thinking about all that lately.
