Mexico violence: Remains of 166 found in Veracruz mass grave

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/06E2/production/_103326710_gettyimages-944976668.jpg The skulls of at least 166 people have been found in a mass grave in Mexico's eastern state of Veracruz.
State prosecutor Jorge Winckler said the skulls and other human remains had been there for at least two years.
The exact location is not being disclosed for security reasons, he added.
Drug traffickers have used Veracruz as a dumping ground for their victims for many years. In March 2017, 250 skulls were found in another mass grave (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-39272332) there.

... and despite these barbarisms, I'm sure there are many Democrats (or anybody else from the despicable Left) who STILL wonder why people will want the tide of illegal immigration across the US / Mexican border tightly controlled !

I'm in Mexico right now. You just need to know where to stay away from. It's "fake news" that all of Mexico is a lousy place. And no it's not just the tourist places that are nice. I'm in a city with very few tourists (Monterrey).

Nuevo Leon state – Level 3: Reconsider Travel
Reconsider travel due to crime. Violent crime and gang activity are common in parts of Nuevo Leon state.

U.S. government employees may travel outside Monterrey only during daylight on toll roads, with the exception of travel to the Monterrey airport, which is permitted at any time.

U.S. government employees must remain within San Pedro Garza Garcia or Santa Catarina (south of the Santa Catarina river) municipalities between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

U.S. government employees are prohibited from patronizing adult clubs and gambling establishments in Nuevo Leon.

Tijuana was OFF LIMITS for military personnel into the 80's because
we did not have a Status of Forces agreement with Mexico.

If someone 'acted up and was caught by the Federalies and tossed
in jail, it was difficult to get them released.

At least in Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and La Paz, the USCG could make
port calls there with permission from the Mexican Navy.

Nobody cares that you are anywhere. I was in Mombasa Kenya back in the 90's after the Gulf War, and it was really nice too. Friendly people, 5 star hotel...until you left the property, and took life in your hands where crime was rampant, and the police force walked around with AK's, to prevent any tourists from being shot, robbed, or eaten for dinner. Yes, they were living in such poverty...outside the view of the hotel...an Old 50'S Chevy Hood was where they slept. Next to the old refrigerator box full of goats, lambs, and puppies...YUM YUM!
Trying to make Mexico sound beautiful, to impress us is like walking TWO BLOCKS North of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, and telling us...There is No crime, murders, drugs, and prostitutes anywhere in D.C..Because it's safe.
