What a shocker. Move on the vote on Friday as planned. This spectacle has went on long enough and it's embarrassing. She's afraid to fly, but turns out she flew across the country for a polygraph test. AND once again now, she has given different info to the polygraph taker. How many versions of this is that, of recent no less?

---

Livewire Highlights:

• Christine Blasey Ford releases polygraph report from her legal team. Details differ from other times she has recounted the story, and it is revealed that it was administered in Maryland — even though she recently delayed testifying before the Senate, citing difficulty with flying across the country from her home in California.
• Michael Avenatti has declined to make his client Julie Swetnick available for media contact. The NYTimes says it is thus unable to corrobate her story.
• Judge Kavanaugh has testified under oath to Senate investigators in response to Swetnick’s allegations.
• GOP senators Cotton and Graham declare Swetnick’s allegations “not credible,” echo Kavanaugh’s “Twilight Zone” characterization.
• President Trump disses Avenatti on Twitter… and apparently gets under his skin.
• Jeff Flake trashes Trump for being “uninformed and uncaring” in response to Kavanaugh’s accusers — still says he has an open mind and will hear out both parties.

3:15 PM — “None of Ms. Swetnick’s claims could be independently corroborated by The New York Times, and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, declined to make her available for an interview.”

I just heard that another man has come forward to say he is the one that Dr Ford had an encounter with. I hope this is true.

Ahead of pivotal Senate hearing, witnesses surface to say Christine Ford may have mistaken them for Kavanaugh

Man claims he, not Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Ford (http://video.foxnews.com/v/5840715844001/judiciary-committee-may-reveal-new-kavanaugh-bombshell)

Judiciary committee reveals they met with man who claims he had the alleged encounter with Dr. Ford. Ed Henry reports from Washington D.C.

As an extraordinary series of uncorroborated, lurid last-minute allegations threatens to derail his confirmation to the Supreme Court, nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Ford, the California professor accusing him of sexually assaulting her more than three decades ago, are set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday morning.
The proceedings may be upended by late-breaking developments: In a statement released Wednesday evening, Judiciary Committee Republicans revealed that on Monday, they conducted their "first interview with a man who believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Dr. Ford in 1982 that is the basis of his complaint." They conducted a second interview the next day.
On Wednesday, Republicans said in the statement, they received a "more in-depth written statement from the man interviewed twice previously who believes he, not Judge Kavanuagh, had the encounter in question with Dr. Ford." GOP investigators also spoke on the phone with another man making a similar claim.

I understand that the big 'lie detector test' that the Dems are hootin' and hollerin' about was just these two questions:

1. Is any part of your statement false?
2. Did you make up any part of your statement?

This test is a joke. First of all - just two questions? And besides that, the second question is just the first question phrased differently, so it is really just one question. And more importantly, why were there no specific questions? How about "did you know Kavanaugh in '82?" or "do you have any reason to dislike Kavanaugh?" or "are you a far-left wacko that hates Donald Trump?"

Clearly, the lie detector test was carefully designed to just be something she could pass, not to be a legitimate lie detector test.
