As far as odd adverts go this is right up there - with the British Army apparently advertising on Twitter with Soviet Era style propaganda?

Really? Then just how did you come up with that comparison?

" Soviet Era style propaganda?"

Seems like a rather large stretch to me...-Tyr

How about a workable link?

This appears to be horse-poop from a military-hating liberal that
would not last a week in a UK 'Squaddies' domain.

...the image.

You did not say that. You did not explain yourself.

Big deal on the image! So it is cheap and reminiscent of Russian propaganda.

Did the Russians post it up?

...the image. It's modern art. Often mistaken for dadaism or cubism. The surrealism is designed to get your attention. It's been used in film since the silent era; especially, in German expressionist films from the the late 1910's - 1920s.

The soviet Union unabashedly stole everything it had. All of it's weapons, art ... anything they could copy they just took. German expressionist films pre-date the Soviet adoption of the modern art look by decades.

All military recruiting is propaganda and is an appeal to patriotism. Just like anything you say is propaganda, depending on the POV. I usually think you're a mouthpiece for the weakest, most effeminate, cowardly people that exist within decadent socialist societies and are a direct result of the latter.

Anything else you need to be schooled on, feel free to ask instead of talking blind.

Apologies if it wasn’t clear that the image posted was relevant to the topic.

I just think it’s an odd direction for the military to go given the current relationship between the U.K. and Russia.

You're basically seeing what you want to see, drawing inferences which you choose to draw. This is all highly subjective judgmentality from you.

It's not as though there's anything at all in the image which actually shows the smallest support for the Soviet era, or its creator !!
